Combining super fine machining precision with speed
Mitsubishi Electric's advanced Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) technology is instrumental in the manufacturing of some of today's state-of-art medical equipment, semiconductors, electronic devices and next-generation engine technologies. For example, our high-speed EDM module can quickly drill extremely accurate fine-holes of less than 100 micrometers in diameter, resulting in fuel injectors for automobiles with more efficient combustion and reduced emissions, and turbine blades for jet engines with more efficient cooling and reduced fuel consumption.
